It is not looking good for getting back into Duff Roblin anytime soon.  The estimate of September 1, 2009 no longer seems like it will happen.  In fact, I have been told that it could take a year!

Thankfully, Engineering has been very generous and provided the Perception and Action Lab with two excellent lab rooms.  The Perception Lab will be back up and running very soon as we’ve managed to extract our touch screens and Dr. Jane Lawrence’s Riverview grant will allow us to purchase another tablet PC.

We are still awaiting final decision on the rest of our equipment and computers.  With luck, they will be returned to us in the next month and we can get the Action Lab up and going again in its new home.

In the meantime, everyone is busy getting ready for the Vision Sciences Society conference and on a variety of projects that don’t require the equipment “left behind”.
